Cartography of Tension & Ache

In this series, I explore the landscapes of chronic pain, bodily memory, and the everyday navigation of tension. I imagine pain not as an a map of connections, where knots, sensations, and moments of ache ripple outward, vibrating into other parts of the body and calling for attention, care, and support.

Through visual language, I translate these experiences into points of tension, tangled pathways, and interconnected forms. Each knot becomes a signal, a voice from the body asking to be witnessed. The body becomes a living map, constantly negotiating the push and pull between holding on and letting go, resistance and release, pain and adaptation.
